Etiquette and Good Sportsmanship
DO Clean up after your dog
DO NOT get involved gossip, insults or criticisms
DO ask before petting another dog
DO NOT say/mumble negitive comments about dogs in the ring. They pay for the judges opinion not yours
DO remember this is a family sport so be positive and have fun!

Think about what makes you, you and why you are the one that is supposed to get that pink ribbon....THEN DO IT! Hopefully these tips will get you on the right track and you pick your own path from there...
If you have a "table dog" put the dog closest to the judge as possible. The farther the better...
When doing your down and back, GO STRAIGHT and make sure the judge sees the dog NOT YOU....
Continue to work your dog even when the judge tells you to relax. Don't work as hard, but keep your dog's attention and have them looking their best......
Go into the ring with the attitude that you have already won. Make the smile real!! Look like you are having fun, not forced to be there.....
Show your breed to YOUR best ability. If you feel awkward doing it, dont do it. It will end up looking funny if you dont feel right doing it.....
Enter as many matches shows as possible! Watch breed rings and find pro-handlers and stay after they are done with breed and ask if they need help.....
